Director

Born and raised in Costa Rica, Amalia is a theater director and deviser who values exploration and collaboration. She has worked as assistant director at The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis and the Confluence New Play Festival. She is working on her BA in directing at Webster University's Sargent Conservatory of Theatre Arts where she is currently directing Our Dear Dead Drug Lord. Amalia is excited to keep telling stories that center female voices and her Latinx heritage.
